I play farming simulator 25 on Xbox and absolutely love the colossus pack. Is there any way you could add a planter/seeder/roller combo with unrealistic width and speed? I have been trying to solo the 4 fields map and seeding/planting/rolling takes forever and a day.
kinze 4905 Multi-Fruit planter pack currently on modhub my friend. Give it a download!
Thanks I will try it out.
Thank you that mod was a life saver. Made seedling/planting so much quicker and rolling a breeze. Keep up the good work.
good deal! Glad it worked as intended!
With the update for Highlands, I don't seem to be able to harvest carrot/parsnip/red beet with the collosus beet harvester + veggie header. Has the addition of onions broken something, or am I doing something wrong. I swear it worked fine last "year". I don't seem to be able to make a link in this forum, but I made a Youtube vid with ID
PzJado2PbWw
Interesting? What map are you on?
Hutan Panai. As I said, it worked fine for the previous harvest, but this year, not so much.
Hmmm. are you using any script mods?
Nailed it. Disabling "Extended Sugar Beet and Potato Harvesters" by Ifko[nator] made your stuff start working.
Perfect! Good to know! Ill add that to my list of conflicts lol
thanks for letting me know!
I would love for you to update this mod for the new Highlands Expansion as soon as you can. I have finally came to the realization that I use this mod in all my game saves on PC. Since the new HL released, all my game saves that use HL repository items in there maps cause my loading of said saved game maps impossible. They either lock at the 89% Loading Vehicles or at 100% Shaders and are just stuck there. I did a test on 2 same save maps, 1 with mod used in game save, and 1 without used in game. The 1 save map with in game saved mod items always got stuck loading at said %. The 1 not used had no issues loading. I did not have this issue at all prior to HL release. I hope you guys can get in and get this mod fixed. Its a GREAT mod and I want to use it so badly in current HL game saves.
Update for HF has been with giants for almost 2 weeks now.
From what I've been seeing is if you use any shader mods, they are breaking game saves since the release of the DLC. I've had no comments saying its my mod causing the issue.
Only way to figure out which one is causing it, is to load 10-15 or so mods at a time until you find the one that is causing the issue. But if youre on PC I would start with any script mods. Those usually break things first.
Thank you for the response. I don't use any shader mods but ill start looking at script mods as you wrote. It is very possible that you are correct and ill look into it. Thank you for a great mod that you guys made for the game, its been a real hoot to play with it. I hope Giant gets off there butts and gets your updated mod vetted and on the in game shop to download soon! keep up the great work!
P.S.: I'll add a response to what I find in my trouble shooting.
EDIT: It was a conflicting script, I'm not sure which one though. I went thru my last LOG and deleted anything that was showing an Error message in the load sequence. I deleted maybe 12 items and it started loading save files again. Thanks again for your insight!
Aye! Glad you got it sorted! Glad youre enjoying the mods! Really appreciate that!
Just used the cotton harvester for the first time tonight and it crashed my game. I was able to save and jump out but when i went back in, it did the same thing. It's not an all out crash but it freezes the view, then will freeze the player, basically makes the game unplayable. Just ran it on my test map with only a few other mods like easy dev and other essentials- same outcome. Everything else works great and are my goto's. Not sure why the cotton harvester went gangster.
What were you doing when it froze? Which cotton harvester were you using? What map?
First I've heard of this so trying to get all details.
Using the unrealistic version set to 25M cut. I was harvesting cotton when it happened. Maps were Riverbend Springs (Base game), Yukon Valley and Back Roads County.
Any other script mods?
Just what I mentioned which is Easy Dev, Additional Game settings, Store deliveries and both of the paint configurators. I was using the root harvester at the same time and I should have sold that off and tried it again. I'll give that a shot this afternoon just in case. Really appreciate you reaching out on this. Class A for sure.
Interesting. Ill see if i can replicate this.
what do you mean both paint configurators? I only know of the one.
Happy to help!!!
am I missing something or is there no windrower with this? I see a tedder.
the mower swath drops and the tedder has a windrow configuration. Don't need a windrower.
Clearly I am dumb and not seeing the windrower configuration on the tedder :/ Bad me, no biscuit.
Hahahaha no worries! I can't remember if its a shop configuration or if you trigger it in the field (currently away from the PC).
First thing first credits to where credits a due, awesome mod, thank you.
However i have a minor issue. I use the root harvester with the highest load of 2.5 mio. When starting to harvest it only allows me to pick up like 54k then it says max reached. Funny thing is if i wait like 10 seconds the max vanishes and it allows me to pick up 2! more beets. So i empty and start all over again. On the next attempt it allows me to pick 54.002, so i climbs from time to time but still far away from the supposed amount.
With the othe harvester there are no such issues.
I play on PS5, Gnadenthal map, tried with all different settings of collection width, same issue every time.
I know that map has had issues. But I would also make sure in your settings that you have the fill limit settings to off. Thats the only 2 things I can think of.
Ultimate Pro Bale
- any chance alfalfa will be supported? Just started getting into alfalfa, only to realize this mod doesn’t bale it.
still loving this mod, any chance of PWM and spot spray stuff for the sprayers? or maybe add an endurance colossus , would be cool
yep im planning on PWM and spot spray for next update. Waiting for Highlands map to drop to add onion stuff at the same time.
legend thnx mate
Bug Report:
The Lizard Forage Wagon ignores the unrealistic pickup width settings and just picks up the base amount no matter the setting. I've tried taking a perpendicular path through windrowed grass to test the pickup width and the wagon only uses the one, base width.
I love the mod and use pretty much all of it!
Environment: PC/Steam
Mod Version: 1.2.0.0
still a problem with the newest games update thought it was just me having problems
Not a bug. Remove this mod.

Thank you and sorry for the false report!
heap of shite mods
Have you tried antidepressants? They help.
Spoken like a true troll who loves hiding in his grandma's basement.
P.s. if youre going to call it 💩, at least spell it right.
Love the pack! If you do another update how about a grass forge header for the root harvester. In FS 22 I enjoyed the capability of self contained grass harvester in the T4-40 harvest pack by MarkThor.
having major trouble with the cotton harvester since the variational size selector as i cant use the normal trailer I used to use as it requires 238mm bales and the biggest the cotton one will do now is 237mm
In the mod description it says to use the bale support pack by BB mods to transport the 20,000L bales.
The support pack works great!
Nothing working properly sence last update. Mower won't cut grass at all on any map. And harvester header's on multifruit maps won't harvest lintis and some other crops it did before last up date. Like the gnadenthal map.
kind of an odd issue with the 6000 forage harvester and the forage pickup unrealistic, set to 10m. There's no problem when running the machine manually, but when I use courseplay it keeps flashing 'AI worker D has a full grain tank' and pauses, then takes off again. This happens every time it moves the length of itself.
I have the latest FS25 and colossus pack, picking up grass on the gnadenthal map, on PC (Mac actually).
loving all your work!
edited to add link to video:
Yeah I don't think forage harvester pickup headers work well with AI workers to begin with. Probably why CP is doing that. Thanks for letting me know regardless! Ill do some looking and see if there is something I can do about it.
Okay, makes sense. I don’t use forage harvesters much. Back to forage wagons!
curious if you guys are thinking about doing a swather for fs25 for the yield bonus the swathing gives
Any way to get optional faster discharge options for the Forage Wagon? 5 mil capacity with a 1000 discharge... takes awhile.
if you flip through the tip side options, there is one for 'instant'. it's a bit unrealistic, but so is a 5M trailer! hope that helps.
hi chris any throughts about adding a header to the forage harvester that grinds trees into wood chips a colous wood chipper wood be nice to see and have you sent the update yet
I would like to do a fast tree to woodchipper. Ill see what I can come up with!
thanku my friend
Chris
u having any thoughts on making the wide header again like 22?
Thanks
its on the massive to do list lol
ty appreciate everything you do 💚💚
yeah base game one does the same thing. It's the silly new attacher joints they have setup for 25. Ill see if I can mess with it.
Thanks for looking into this! Would obviously look clean if sitting flush but understand potential constraints Giants may have in place.
Bug Report: Lizard Colossus 7000 Cotton Harvester Unreal
Hi, first of all, Tank you for developing this mod. I really love playing with it. As you liked the other Bug Report I will try to copy it.
Issue Summary:
I play on the Map Gnadenthal. And I use the German version of the Game if it does matter.
I have two issues which are somewhat connected.
1. The Cotton bale collector, which is mentioned in the Changelog V 5.3.3.0, can not be found in the Shop or maybe I am to blind to find it. I searched every category which came to my mind.
2. I harvested a field with the Colossus 7000 Cotton Harvester and choose the bale size of 2,37 cm. I cannot find a bale transporter (collector) which can load these bales. I always get a message like 'This bale type is not supported'. After some research I found out that the 'standard' size for other bale transporters is 2,38 cm. Then I tried to insert the bale size into the XML-file with no success.
Hope you can look into this.
Have a good day.
Peter
Oh awesome! Thank you for that!
So the 5.3.3 version is for fs22 just so we're on the same page and I hope my memory is still good enough to remember that one lol
There is a cotton tag trailer that you use to transport all 3 sizes of cotton bales. I can't remember if its lizard or branded. But it only collects cotton bales.
Best way to find stuff in the pack is to search the tab that has things by the mod itself.
Hope that helps point you in the right direction! If you need more clarification I can try and get better info for you when we get back home from the holiday weekend tomorrow.
Bug Report: Steering Issue with Colossus 9000 Harvester + Headers with Transport Wheels
Hello, I've been trying to find a way to report this directly, but since I couldn't, I'm leaving this comment here as a bug report.
Issue Summary:
When using the Colossus 9000 Harvester with a Titan Header (or any header that has integrated transport wheels), I'm unable to steer the harvester when the header is connected and in transport mode.
Steps to Reproduce:
Attach the Titan Header (with transport wheels) to a trailer and connect it to the Colossus 9000.
Attempt to drive and steer the harvester.
Steering is either completely unresponsive or severely limited.
Additional Testing:
I tried connecting regular transport header trailers to the Colossus 9000 — no issues, steering works perfectly.
I tested a different header with its own transport wheels, and the same steering issue occurred — no steering response once connected.
Conclusion:
The issue seems isolated to headers that have integrated transport wheels. When these are attached (via trailer), the steering functionality of the Colossus 9000 is compromised.
Please look into this when possible. It’s a great mod otherwise!
Thanks!
PS: mod ver. Current up to date. 1.1.0.0
Platform: pc win11, steam.
This is the best bug report I've ever seen!!!
What map are you using, and do you have any other mods installed? I want to try and duplicate this too because it shouldn't be doing that.
Thank you again for being so descriptive!!!
Thanks for the response! I’ll do some additional testing a bit later to see if I can narrow it down further. And yes, I do have other mods installed, so I’ll check if there’s any potential conflict or pattern that might be causing the issue.
I’ll report back with more detailed findings as soon as I can. I really appreciate the work you’ve put into the mod — and I know how important solid bug reports are for getting things fixed properly. Thanks again!
Follow-Up Bug Report: Steering Issue with Colossus 9000 + Certain Headers (Map-Dependent)
Hi again! After a lot of in-depth testing, I wanted to share a full update on the steering issue with the Colossus 9000 harvester when using certain headers. Hopefully this helps reproduce and troubleshoot the bug more easily.
Testing Summary:
Tested across approx. 15 maps.
All non-essential mods were disabled.
Only required map mods and the Colossus 9000 mod pack were enabled.
All maps (unless otherwise noted) were downloaded from ModHub.
Only listing maps where the bug occurred — all others worked fine.
Key Discovery:
Originally, I thought the bug only happened when a header with transport wheels was attached as a trailer. But I later found that:
The same steering issue also happens when the header is attached in work mode (no trailer involved). So, the issue occurs regardless of how the header is connected if it has built-in transport wheels, or not.
Detailed Findings:
Headers with Built-in Transport Wheels
When attached in trailer mode, the Colossus can move forward/backward, but steering doesn't work.
When attached in work mode, steering is still disabled.
In both cases, the wheels do not turn visually, and the machine does not steer.
Headers Without Transport Wheels
On some maps, even standard headers (no transport wheels) cause the same issue when attached in work mode.
This shows the bug is not only about transport wheels, but possibly something with how certain headers interact with the harvester or the map.
Map-Specific Behavior
The bug does not happen on all maps.
On some maps, everything works fine with the same headers.
On other maps, attaching one of these headers immediately breaks steering.
Maps Where the Issue Occurs:
Prairie Farm Michigan (no mods required)
Calm Lands
Placeable Ramp
Low Cost Grain Silo
Old Storage Shed
Oak Bridge Farm (no mods required)
Bergschof (from KingMods)
Barn with Cows
Cowshed Pack
Machine Storage
Machineshed 35x20
Shed Pack
Farmhouse Shed Package Volume 3
Note: The issue happens even on brand new saves. Just loading the map and attaching the header causes it.
Conditions That Break Steering:
Header with transport wheels, attached in trailer mode → steering fails (on some maps)
Header with transport wheels, attached in work mode → steering fails (on some maps)
Headers without transport wheels, attached in work mode → steering fails (on some maps)
Conclusion:
This seems like a compatibility bug between the Colossus 9000 and certain headers, especially when combined with specific maps. It may be related to map-level physics, axle handling, or terrain collision settings.
Happy to Help Further:
I have over 60 maps installed and can test more if needed. I can also provide logs, save games, or short videos if that helps.
Thanks again for the mod — I hope this helps narrow it down!
PS: I also know that I did not need to include the mods that the map requires, since we have concluded that it's map dependent and not mod dependent, but I like to be through, in my report.
I've tried to look for another way to contact you regarding this mod, but found none, so I'll just go for it here:
I'm mega super satisfied with this great and awesome mod, and use it a lot in FS25 :D
One issue/bug/glitch that I've found, however, and hope that the pack could be updated to fix, is with the Titan Trailer:
Any crop or product left in the trailer when quitting, disappears upon restarting the game. Hope this could be done something about to fix. Other than that, I'm more than a little satisfied with this mod pack, keep up the good work :D
thanks for the message! That is very interesting! I've never heard of that issue. What platform are you playing on?
We have this, youtube, and discord. 🤘
I'm playing on PC, through Steam :)
